The Cross fit games competitions are spread around a given timeline. The main timeline is often for five weeks. As such, for a period of five weeks, athletes will compete in a five-weekly tier workout plan.

How to do CrossFit open 20.2
For the 20.2 Cross-Fit workouts, the event is opened for the age bracket of 18 and 34 years, just like in the 20.1 categories. You have to do as much as possible a specific workout within 20 minutes and you have to complete every round.
The workouts are done as follows:
- 4 dumbbell thrusters
- 6 toes-to-bars
- 24 double-unders
- 50-lb. dumbbells

Open athletes will submit their workouts with the video. Here are the right standards to met when submitting your CrossFit open 20.2 workouts with videos.
- Film the pull-up bar
- Film the dumbbells
- Make sure the loads are clearly visible
- Send videos while uncut and unedited
- Accurately display your performance
- Your judge must be visible to the end of the workout
- Your clock or timer must be visible to the end of the workout
- All exercises must be seen clearly
- Meet all movement standards
EQUIPMENT You Need
The equipment needed for the 20.2 CrossFit workouts include the following:
- Pull-up bar
- Jump rope
NOTE: The dumbbells must have the appropriate weight depending on your division. The minimum acceptable dumbbell weight is as follows:
- 22.5 kg (50 lb.)
- 15 kg (35 lb.)
- 10 kg (20 lb.)
- 7.5 kg (15 lb.).
In this round, there is no tiebreak.
