For the men’s and women’s individual games, there are the marquee events that CrossFit Games give. These competitions come with a first-place prize Crossfit Games Winners that rakes in about $300,000. Originally, individual athletes who came from the same CrossFit-affiliated gym were clustered in a single team and rewarded with an affiliate cup if their combined points were the most. In 2009, a separate set of completion events were introduced for affiliate teams. The teams were to constitute four to six players who came from the same gym.
